Mouse CD48/SLAMF2 Protein

产品信息(Product Info)
表达区间及表达系统(Source)

Recombinant Mouse CD48/SLAMF2 Protein is expressed from HEK293 with hFc tag at the C-Terminus.
It contains Phe23-Arg216 [Accession | Q18PH8].

分子量大小(Molecular Weight)

The protein has a predicted MW of 49 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 50-55 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.

纯度(Purity)

> 95% as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE
> 95% as determined by HPLC

内毒素(Endotoxin)

Less than 1EU per μg by the LAL method.

制剂(Formulation)

Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

重构方法(Reconstitution)

Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml is recommended (usually we use 1mg/ml solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

存储(Storage)

-20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.
-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.
Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

产品数据(Assay Data)
Bis-Tris PAGE

Mouse CD48/SLAMF2 on Bis-Tris PAGE under reduced condition. The purity is greater than 95%.

SEC-HPLC

The purity of Mouse CD48/SLAMF2 is greater than 95% as determined by SEC-HPLC.

背景(Background)

CD48, also known as BLAST-1, BCM-1, and SLAMF2, is a 65 kDa GPI-linked protein in the CD2 family of immunoglobulin superfamily molecules.CD2 and 2B4 (CD244) are known ligands for CD48. CD48 protein is expressed on most lineage-committed hematopoietic cells but not on hematopoietic stem cells or multipotent hematopoietic progenitors.

分子别名(Synonyms)

CD48 molecule; CD48; SLAMF2; BCM1; BLAST; BLAST1; BLAST1TCT.1;  mCD48; MEM-102; TCT.1

Note: HPLC results always come from liquid protein, due to absorption peak interference of trehalose in lyophilized powder.
